Groundwater accounts for about 30% of the world's freshwater supply, is a very important natural resource and a reliable source of water supply, and also plays a significant role in the economy. For the rational use of groundwater, it is necessary to apply correct approaches to assessing the resource potential and calculating reserves. In addition, monitoring is an integral part of maintaining the quality of groundwater, as well as reducing the negative impact on water bodies. During the round table, it is planned to discuss issues and features of calculating reserves and monitoring the quality of groundwater, especially in areas with intensive exploitation and difficult water management conditions.
