During the treatment of sewage sludge is formed, which can pose a serious environmental problem in terms of pollution of water and land facilities. Sludge can contain heavy metals, pathogens, toxic substances and excessive amounts of nitrates. Dehydration and disinfection are mandatory stages of sludge treatment. The storage of sewage sludge on silt maps (silt accumulators) is practiced. However, classical processing technologies do not fully guarantee the safety of further storage. In addition, there are prospects for using silt deposits with economic benefits. In this regard, the development, improvement and analysis of existing sludge processing technologies are relevant areas for discussion.
